Sandy Seventh-day Adventist Church Partners with Better Vision Better Hope to Provide a Vision Clinic
By Annette Moore, For the Sandy Standard
The Sandy Seventh-day Adventist Church is partnering with Better Vision Better Hope to host a community Vision Clinic on April 26, 2026, providing essential eye care services to individuals and families who may not otherwise have access to vision care.
The clinic will bring together volunteer medical professionals and community members to offer eye exams, vision screenings, and free prescription glasses to those in need. The event reflects the shared mission of both organizations: serving communities through compassionate healthcare and restoring hope through practical support.
“Clear vision can change lives,” said organizers of the event. “By working together with Better Vision Better Hope, we hope to remove barriers to eye care and help individuals see clearly so they can work, learn, and live more fully.”
The event will rely on the support of volunteer healthcare professionals, community partners, and church members dedicated to serving others.
Services will include:
- Vision screenings
- Eye health evaluations
- Free Prescription glasses for those who qualify
- Referrals for additional care if needed
The clinic is open to community members ages six and above, especially individuals who are uninsured or underinsured.
This initiative reflects the service-centered mission of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, which has a long history of promoting whole-person health through medical outreach, education, and community service.
Community members interested in volunteering or scheduling an appointment are encouraged to contact the church for more information.
