Imagine a global network of more than 1.2 million neighbors and friends, people who roll up their sleeves to make the world a better place. That’s Rotary. For over 110 years, Rotary members have united across communities and cultures to create lasting change, locally and globally.

Rotary members are people of action. They’re problem-solvers who bring passion, energy, and intelligence to projects that make a real difference. From promoting literacy and peace to improving access to clean water, healthcare, and education, Rotarians tackle challenges that matter, and stay dedicated until the job is done.

What Do We Do?

Our mission is simple but powerful: to serve others, promote integrity, and foster goodwill and peace through a fellowship of business, professional, and community leaders.

Rotary’s 45,000 clubs around the world work together to:

  • Promote peace

  • Fight disease

  • Provide clean water, sanitation, and hygiene

  • Improve maternal and child health

  • Support education

  • Grow local economies

  • Protect the environment

Celebrating Four Years of Service in Sandy

While Rotary’s reach is global, the Rotary Club of Sandy is rooted right here at home. Chartered in 2022, our club just celebrated its fourth anniversary! Since day one, we’ve focused on meeting local needs — especially in education, where we believe lasting change begins.

What Have We Been Up To?

Holiday Cheer – The holiday season was a busy and joyful one for Sandy Rotary. We joined the community at the Plaza tree lighting, handing out candy canes to excited kids, and served hot chocolate and cookies at Meinig Park during Winterfest. There’s nothing like seeing smiles light up our town.

Literacy for Local Students – Education is our heartbeat. Partnering with the Oregon Trail School District, our club provides books to every student in kindergarten through second grade.
