Within the Sandy community, Wippersnappers is a safe place for kids to find enjoyment and connect with the community. Popular activities including play structures, bounce houses, and wiggle carts are offered; multitudes of kids run around Wippersnappers partaking in these activities. The Sandy Lions Club will host an afternoon of bunco on Saturday, March 14th, from 1:00 to 4:00 at the Rainbow Lodge in the Oral Hull Park located at 43233 SE Oral Hull Road. All proceeds are going to serve Sandy residents with sight and hearing concerns. This will be the first Lions-sponsored bunco event. Soon, community members, teachers, and local officials will come together for a meaningful rededication ceremony of the Oregon Trail Academy, to pay tribute to the late Jean Lundy, a trailblazer whose significant legacy continues to shape the Oregon Trail School District. The event will recognize Lundy’s remarkable 32 years of service to Cottrell School and the wider district, as well as her historic achievement as the first woman to serve as Superintendent of Oregon.  Jean L

Trajectory puts on the annual SICC Forest Festival in Sandy every June, but their second biggest event of the year comes on Saturday, March 7, 2026. Trajectory will host its third annual Forestry Fundraiser at the Carver Event Center, continuing a growing tradition of investing directly in local students, workers, and forestry education programs across the region. The evening opens at 4 p.m. with bar service and Timbersports on the lawn, followed by dinner and a live auction

For nearly 80 years, the Kiwanis Club of Sandy has supported local families throughout our community. Helping the community is a major reason we become members. We love this place, and we want it to thrive. During this year, the club will sponsor or participate in events to raise money to serve our community.
