Colloquially known as the “beer gardens,” the Sandy Area Chamber of Commerce’s Sandy Music Fair and Feast will return at 5 p.m. Thursday, July 9, just before the Sandy Mountain Festival parade.
Sandy Music Fair and Feast is the Chamber’s largest annual fundraiser, bringing thousands into Centennial Plaza over the course of three days in July. The money goes to not only help with Chamber operations, but to enable the Chamber to help families in need in the Sandy area.
This year’s festivities will include a family night on Thursday, July 9, from 5-11:30 p.m. with a giveaway for the kids (sponsored by Trimble Rentals), family friendly activities like yard games, a balloon animal artist, and painting of planter boxes, guitars, and maracas.
Friday the plaza opens at 5 p.m. with children allowed in on the fun until 8 p.m., and live music until 11:30 p.m.
Saturday the festivities kick off at 2 p.m., with the plaza open to all ages until 8 p.m., and live music until 11:30 p.m. Saturday’s schedule will also feature two games of Bingo with ShayShay at 2:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. — a feature added in recent years that is a definite crowd pleaser. Bingo is open to all ages, as Saturday is Family Day, and it is free to play.
“I’m super excited about offering two rounds of Bingo,” said Chamber Executive Director Khrys Jones. “It’s been very popular.”
For the first time this year, the Chamber is partnering with The Sandy Standard and the Sandy Mountain Festival to have information about the July festivities in the 2026 Sandy Mountain Festival park guide. Copies have been inserted into the July issue of The Sandy Standard, and will also be handed out at the festival.
“We’re super excited to be included in the park guide this year, and to be partnering with the Sandy Mountain Festival,” Jones explained. “Since Lisa (Snider) has taken over, she and her board have been so welcoming and encouraging. It’s been a great collaboration, and we appreciate Active Media giving us the opportunity.”
This year’s Sandy Music Fair and Feast is made possible by multiple area businesses' sponsorships, including presenting sponsor Les Schwab - Sandy, major sponsors Clackamas County Bank, The Sandy Standard/Active Media Publishing Group, and Boring Bark, as well as several others.
For more information about the Sandy Music Fair and Feast, pick up a copy of the park guide (inserted into The Sandy Standard) and/or visit sandyoregonchamber.org. Tickets for the event can be purchased online or at the gate.
