Sandy Area Chamber invites members, prospective members to annual meeting

The Sandy Area Chamber board will be at the annual meeting to mingle with members.

Hosting an informative annual meeting might be a requirement for the Sandy Area Chamber of Commerce, but Executive Director Khrys Jones and her board intend to also make the 2026 event as fun as possible. 

From 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 25, the Chamber welcomes all members and prospective members to join the board for lunch, a presentation on the Chamber’s 2025 successes and 2026 plans, and a celebration of milestones for local businesses. 

The meeting is hosted at and sponsored by Sandy’s own Dick Hannah Ford & Chevrolet dealership. 

“This is an opportunity for us to share what we did over the past year,” Jones said. “And I’m looking forward to celebrating the longevity of the members who’ve been with us for many years.” 

This event is no-cost to members to attend, but non-members will pay $15 to attend without lunch and $30 to attend and receive a lunch. To make sure the Chamber has the right amount of food, people are required to RSVP on the Chamber website at sandyoregonchamber.org. 

“We’re always looking for additional members to join and grow our circle,” Jones added. “New members will have an opportunity to learn more about the chamber and meet our board members.”

As an additional gift to those in attendance, the Chamber will also have Mountain Honey Media at the meeting to take professional headshots for those who want them.
